Ha ha ha. You guys. More power to you. I would sit up on a rock and watch rather than chance my body taking a beating like that lady in the jeep.

GIL...you can keep your sticker. Tom is talking about completing Hells Gate. If he was talking about the way you thought then no VX has complete Hells Revenge since none have been up Escalator...yet!

Bob B...the Gate is down the entrance and up the exit.

    Eb...what's the fun in that?

Eb...what's the fun in that? The fun I guess would be watchin someone else trash their side panels rather than I. I also like all my bones to remain properly connected. Remember anatomy class "well the knee bones connected to the leg bone and the leg bones connected to the hip bone and so on" yes I don't want to change the order of those connections.

one thing that people dont realize that dont come to moab is the closeness of the group that does.

we all trust each other very much, and wouldnt put each other into a situation that would danger each others lives.
in fact, look up the escalator, if billy told me that he could get me up it safely and unscathed then i would go for it...

everyone in the group learns that their first year in moab. just ask mark

    Thumbs up

    Thanks Billy,

I knew there were some optional obstacles that I took a pass on (especially after I almost rolled on Tip Over Challenge), but I did NOT want to have to surrender my Hell's Revenge sticker. Just so everyone that has not been to Moab knows... there is a lot more to Hell's Revenge than Hell's Gate (and they are not the same thing). It is one of my favorite trails in Moab, and I did it for the first time in '02 when my VX was stock. Yes I did a Hot Tub with 18" rims & street tires! I don't have a pic, but here's one from '07...

If a stock H3 can do it, with the right spotter and right line, a VX could too.

well billy.... if i get my body armor done that im trying to get done, then you are my spotter sir....

i should have some serious protection for my rear 1/4's and taillights, which is where everyone seems to damage on escalator.

I think it would be much harder in a VX due to the shorter wheelbase...there is a spot where you would be nearly vertical in a short wheelbase vehicle.
