Pretty crazy! I've always followed on-road motorsports where the cars cost $100K+ to develop. How much do these rigs typically cost? Looks like a few amateur ones in there maybe...

The top rigs were in the 100-200K area. All that unbreakable stuff is big $$$$. There are a few with considerably smaller budgets but as the KOH gets bigger (it has grown from 13 5 years ago to having its own qualifying series and a limit of 100 rigs) I think those will become less and less. With the exception of the "OG 13" everyone else must qualify (top 10 get auto entry into the next years race also).
