Ha ha ha ha. Funny you say roller skate. When I first saw my VX at the dealer I didn't know what it was. I thought it was ugly. I thought it looked like a "roller skate". but now...I think it is the coolest looking auto ever created and I just enjoy looking at it.

I bought up some Transformer decals from WalMart (gold insignia) that I sometimes apply to the front-center of my nose mask (VX Bra) on the hood. So far I've only used the Decepticon ones...lol.
I haven't got any nick-names as of late (other than some stranger in a bar wanted to know who owned the "Baja Buggy" parked outside) as the VX seems to have traveled from "ahead of its time styling" to "modern styling". People's jaws drop when they ask me who makes it and if its new; then I tell them its 11 years old! I always get the proverbial..."but I've never seen one before!"
What I love in my case is that even though it is viewed as one of today's crossovers...no crossovers run around with off-road tires & setup and so it really is getting alot of attention these days. I mean you just don't see a Kia or whatever with lift & mud-tires!

We call my friends Dragon green the Wartfrog. He wanted to name it the Warthog after the Halo car, but we all thought it looked more like a frog, so we combined them. It does look a lot like a catfish though.

I never responded to this thread when it was first posted, but I LMAO and fell in love with the name Battletoad ever since I saw it.
I've been trying to think of an awesome name fitting for an Ironman.

Nah, I gave up on the vanity plate. Oklahoma's system is just too Flintstones. Instead of offering a place to check for available tags on that newfangledy internet-gizmo, you have to blindly submit up to 6 choices, mail it in and hope you don't get stuck paying for something you didn't really want.Oh well, at least we finally caught up to the 1960s a couple years ago and can finally pay for tags using credit/debit cards.
