After carefully reading your post about the brake light i am sure that the BRAKE light showing on the dashboard you'r referring about has to be the hand brake sensor that is probably broken.

Secondly the ABS is an common issue that our VX suffers an lot,mines is also on,but don't take it much seriously because our VX actually perform better without the ABS.

$ 10000 i agree is way over considering the interior's conditions you described.
For that amount you can get osto's VX that is in better shape hands down with shipping included,as stated many members ended up purchasing their VX out-of-state ( including me) so distance shouldn't be an issue to get the right toy.
