Brunch is good, I was willing to miss the game cuz that is really the only good day I could make it. Still would like to hit some trails when we can work it out!

Ruled out trail idea #2 on Table Mesa Rd....reconnaissance today reveals too difficult at a rocky water crossing (New River)about 2 miles into the trial. Heavy storms have really roughed up the river rocks and created deep rocky pockets. Stock VXs would have problems on real rocky area (for those that have been to Moab....it's just like Rubble Trouble on Hell's Revenge). It goes from this real easy dirt road (where my car can be seen) to all these boulders!

In the first pic, it looks like they've tried to make a bypass off to the right, but either path is rough, real rough for stock.

But we still could go on the real easy 2 mile portion, gorgeous area, heavy thicket of Saguaros, awesome group VX photo ops! Bring a lawn chair, we could hang out and chat for a while, play with our dogs, etc...

Me too Billy now with my bigger tires and full Kilby skids! But our newer stock buddies need to know what to expect and not freak them out. It has another difficult area too further down. We can go up to Bloody Basin Rd (Trail idea #1) and take the trail all the way South to Cave Creek, it bypasses these difficult areas. Since you & Zu4Two want a more challenging trail, you could break off from us on FR 269 and go West on Table Mesa Rd and run it in reverse, come out right there, pictured above.
