What's the most backspacing you've seen?

The VX has the best turning circle of any vehicle i've owned, so loosing a few degrees wouldn't hurt if you need too.

Just for your information, my Isuzu is running an 8" wheel with a zero offset and 265 75 16 tyres. The tyre edge sits pretty much inline with the wheel arch (fender )

The other thing to add is that with my set up and i presume others that haven't increased their off set out beyond the arches is that i get full travel of the suspension using the OEM bump stops, my wheels dont rub at all.

My advice to you is to take Merlin's advice on the rim size/offset.
