    Thanks guys.

One thing that confuses me is the stock wheel is listed with 38mm offset. Since it's a 7" wheel, the center point would be 3.5". 38mm is right at 1.5".

1.5" + 3.5" = 5" backspacking for the OEM wheel. (According to my calculations).

But this chart shows it should be 5.5" backspacing. The chart looks wrong.

    Or I don't understand something.

(I also did a search on backspacing. I looked thru most of the threads with that term. Not a single post mentioned OEM backspacing. Since my new VX no longer has stock wheels, I cannot verify what it SHOULD be.)

If it's of any help, my Centerlines have 5" of backspacing on an 8" wide wheel.

    Here's my real questions:

    1) Would a 20x9" dub with 10mm offset stick out 2" further than stock?

    2) Would the same wheel with 30mm offset have too much backspacing?

10 and 30mm are the two choices for offset in a wheel I like

    1) That's what I get (well 2.1" and change)

    2) If I understand the equations correctly, I think that 30mm offset would generate too much backspacing.

Ughhh....what's this forum category for? Since it included a GIANT wheel thread, I thought it was the correct location. Is it not?

    OK., thanks.

Without a specific reply, let me try the question this way....

Is anyone running wheels that have 3/4" more backspacing than stock? Basically, I'm trying to figure out if up to 1" more backspacing (than stock) will fit in the wheels w/o rubbing. For sake of argument, lets say it's with 30" diameter tires.
