I broke the check stop last night and cant find the subject in the search. Is the rear door check stop (meatl bar that conects the door to the inside fender) is it interchangable with a rodeo or trooper?

Probably not. You could call Merlin at St. Charles Isuzu and see if they are the same part number. Mine's been broke too for awhile now, but I think I'm going to remove the rear hatch anyways.

Mine broke also. It's called a 'rear door check arm'. Part #8-97247-589-0. It costs about $60, if available. I haven't looked into getting it replaced yet 'cuz it's not a big problem for me.
That part number is not shared with any other Isuzu. It's possible that part on another Isuzu may be adapted to work on a VX.
