    Hey, thanks back to ya, tjh - if you hadn't asked this, I never would have noticed I was missing a bolt!

    Wow, that's hard squeeze a camera into! Here's a shot of the top driver's side hinge with the door open, looking from the outside through the opening between the front fender (left side of photo) and the door (right side of photo). I think I see the same thing you are describing:

    * The bolts are offset
    ** The top bolt is closer to the rear bumper
    ** The bottom bolt is closer to the front bumper

    (Don't hesitate to describe how you need another photo from a different angle.)

    Awesome ! that's exactly how mine are . How did you get that shot ? I just tried to snap a photo of mine and failed miserably . Thank you very much !

    SOooo this must be false :"Catalog Note: LH or Left = Driver Side; RH or Right = Passenger Side "

    Huh ! the washer hasn't fallen off , where your missing the bolt. Nothing but paint holding it there. I'm impressed.

    That photo was taken with the base of the camera resting against the door about 2 feet away from the hinge. It was still on the macro (close-up) setting so I'm surprised it stayed in focus. But, I had the camera set on the highest resolution so I still had to crop and reduce the size to keep the final image from being obnoxiously huge.

    I don't know what to say about that. 100% of the time, without fail, set in stone, it is "THE LAW" - left hand vs. right hand is ALWAYS determined as if you were sitting in the driver's seat. According to the part number you received - you got the wrong part. Both sides CAN'T be the same because, if rotated, the bolt holes would have been wrong. I'm stumped. But hey, it worked and you reduced your wind noise so.... WIN!

    I'm impressed, too! I think it's funny that it will always be a mystery to me about how and why that bolt disappeared. Another point for the VX - even the paint is awesome! LOL

    cdvntx, those look like Isuzu part numbers. Call St Charles Isuzu (800) 727-8066 and ask for Merlin. He's a really good guy to work with and tell you if they are available in the states or if they will be shipped from Japan. Mention this website to get free shipping. If you are prompted to leave a message - just call back every 10-15 until you get him.

    Another source is IsuzuParts. Never know which will be the cheaper price once shipping costs are factored in.
    "S&H will be calculated at 10% of the price of the item, or a $9.95 minimum."

    I Googled those hinge part numbers and they're the same ones in a Honda Passport or Trooper. So you can order 'em at your local Honda or Acura dealer, or at Clay Cooley Suzuki in Dallas, which is an Isuzu parts dealer. They're only like $30 each.

    Why give your credit card info over the phone and pay shipping charges when you can pay cash in person and maybe have 'em the next day without any shipping charge?
