Those look like 265's to me. 285's look REALLY meaty! Check out mine by clicking below.... they are the Yokos though.... I'd like to see the Kumho's in my size!

I bought the 265's from tirerack.com with road hazard for $524. I had a buddy put them on and do a front end alignment for $80 (last time he only charged me 60...inflation). I didn't do much comparison shopping.
I got the 265's instead of the 285's because I remember reading a post that all VXs are not the same. Some had to trim the cladding with their 285's while other didn't--maybe different tires? Wormgod had to do some light trimming with 285s (not Kumho's)...then changed to sweet rims and had to do some major trimming. Guess I am a bit conservative.
I would also like to see what I am missing. Driver3, got a pic of your 285s?
I got my KUMOs from discount tire $104.oo each with free shipping that was back in april.
Tire direct has them for $104.oo each plus shiping from there midwest wharehouse to tucson for $98 bucks.
