To be honest i couldn't believe that there was a tool that did it, those things are tough!!!! i have enough trouble getting it up the shaft (oh er misses) but maybe some hot water to soften it up??

The Trooper boots I got from Milner were easy to get on and came with new fasteners. You end up with more than enough grease around to help them slip on to the CVs
