    Post Foxfire Registry

With all the VX's we've seen for sale in the last few months, I thought it would be a good idea to start tracking the status of VX's that we know exist, either by site registration and/or AutoTrader/CL ad. At first I was doing it for all colors, but that was an immense undertaking (especially for the more popular ones). So I whittled it down to just Foxfires for now, since there are at most 210 out there. Based on my research there may be up to 95 or so Foxfire VX's that we know to exist, but I wasn't able to determine a username, VIN #, or location for all of them.

Take a look at the pics and full attachment if you're interested, and if you own a Foxfire and are interested in updating your info, post below or PM me.

I now have 79 confirmed VINs and I just finished running them through AutoCheck. The chart below is a summary view - if anyone's interested I can forward you the detailed report for each VIN. I hesitate to post everything as a zip here since Sue could get in pretty big trouble with AutoCheck, so for now I'll just say let me know if you want it and I'll send it to you.

Sorry for the resolution, for some reason the site won't let me upload something bigger.

Hmmm, was it carfax, or something I've done here? Says the vx is "in service". It is up and running strong, just rolled 147,777 today.
    Thanks for your efforts!

Indy - the black and white charts in the first post were a rough draft based on some initial research. The color-coded chart is the end product of 79 AutoCheck reports against those VINs. Your status in that chart is "REGISTRATION < 1 YEAR OLD". Because not all totals/salvages appear in AutoCheck, I started tracking last registration dates as an easy way to detect those VX's that might be on blocks somewhere.

Great work, Ashley. Thanks for taking the time to do this. The Foxfire contingent is a strong force, here. I've always been thankful that the first two Protons I looked at in CA turned out to be garbage, allowing me to wait until the best color came around...
