    Moncha turns 10!

    I hate the fact that work got in the way of an important celebration.

    Ten years ago Laura and I traded in our '99 Astral VX for our beloved 2000 Proton VX (Moncha). I loved it when the sales guys reminded me, "You gotta wake up to that color every morning, you sure you want it?"

    The obsession was on a roll when I met up with Tone in Colorado Springs for an Impromptu meet in my Astral, but it launched into space with the Proton!

    At 38K miles its been a lot fun traveling through Moab, the Pacific Northwest as well as the trails on the mountains of Colorado.

    I'm looking forward to several more decades of fun.

    One for each year! Congrats, and wait... what was that? 38,000!!! That's awesome bossman! Mine is going down to St. Charles for the 120,000 mile service for it's 10th birthday.

    Congrats Moncha. What can I say that will top 10 dancin' nanners?

    38k? Time to drive that proton, gas aint that pricey yet. Do you have the initial rubber on it?

    Gratz! Very cool. Next month would have been year 10 for me had my Dragon lived. I believe she gave her life to save me with barely 3k milles on her.
