Its worth looking into the rear view mirror mount if people are interested. There a couple "2 second fixes" like pushing it up further with the double joints (like Mark) or you can always turn the mirror upside down & it will sit way higher (although the map lights will be upside down).

Marlin, I copied you a got the rear view mirror backup camera. You will get more windshield visability if you flip your mirror upside down and then mount the screen. It pretty much eliminates the gap between the roof liner and mirror
