Actually resulted in the saddest moment of my day. The purpose (protect fresh surgery) reminded me of a young cat we had in Okinawa. The day we had it spade in preparation for our move back to the states (it was mandatory) the cat was trying to climb in to the litter box from the closed side, scraped her stitches, went into shock, and died in my arms. This little device would have prevented that.
