We have 3 -5 VXs coming, anyone else on the East Coast wants to jump in, its a ton of fun!!! A bone stock VX can run just about every trail with no problems (except it needs at least 31" ATs of some type). Its a blast, and the infamous Trooper RS will be there as well. You can find all the info on the Planet, link above.

Its definitely worth it for one day... any day...the group is awesome, and the trails are great for beginners, with a smattering of intermediate. The VX will eat just about anything up there, if you listen to the spotters. Be light on the gas pedal.

Well, my buddy is moving back to TX the weekend of this meet so I doubt I'll make it. Sorry, I was really looking forward to wheeling my truck some and learning if it can handle more than parking stops and grass medians!

Shouldn't you lower that hitch a little. It looks like you're carrying too much weight on the rear axle of the trailer.

Too late I think... if it's a problem his VX is already in a ditch somewhere (not of his choosing).

It actually towed better this time like that, once I got all the junk in the bed of the truck, it worked out quite nicely. It does look a bit high in that photo.

Just got back and unpacked, will start a new thread with pics and whatnot.

Don't be, I just finished doing my statistics 201 and english comp homework for next week, all while thinking about how much damage my wife will be doing to the RS about this time tomorrow
Too bad you can't make it, screw texas, can't he just go to Home Depot, get some Texas cousins to help him move?

Ha! It's not that I'm helping him move, I'm completely against him moving back, we just have a lot to get done before he can move. He bought an '85 jeep cherokee that isn't running well at all and he doesn't know crap about vehicles. So we will be spending his last weekend getting polishing his recently purchased turd.

Alright, hitting the road now, so the forum will be missing my posts for sure for the next three days
I did manage to fix the RS this morning. I was topping off fluids, airing up tires, decided to clean the MAF. Couldn't find the damn thing. Well, I thought maybe it doesn't have one, maybe it just has a temp sensor on the actual suction. Low and behold, so misc relay was blocking the suction. There was only like 1/2" opening for air to flow. No wonder it was sputtering and surging and sometimes stalling. It wasn't able to breath!! THis should solve the running rich problem as well.
This is why tech support always asks "Is it plugged in, and is the power switch in the "ON" position"
