Haven't had this happen on my VX, but all the doors are doing it on our Axiom. Frustrates the crap out of me too, you wash the car and get it looking nice then you look in your side view mirror and see this piece of rubber flapping in the wind.

It didn't flap in the wind.
It was just an irritant ... like a chronic wedgie.

I have had that exact same thing happen glued it a fwew times that didnt work for long so I cut it off.
