Ida know.
Mine:
A double tube for stiffness & contoured for maximum astetics. It's all about performance.
Dave's:
Longitudinal flexing = flacid.
Trust me sweetie - you DON'T wanna play a game of wit against a perverted engineer.

Put a smiley after you say that Bub.
Oops, I think yer right ....I humbly bow to you oh master perv!![]()
...but still gotta say, ain't no longitudinal flexing in dat thing..it's rock hard,, you know the bumper thing....! Can take a 25 mph whack no problem, but ya gotta leave the rubber things on! That's one hard little bumper! And did ya notice...it's textured too! Wohoo!
p.s..."double tube for stiffness"....hmmm, isn't that one of those inflatable things the surgeon inserts & you pump up??![]()
Now don't you go startin' up again and drag me across that line!!
I like his bumperette...and that's all that matters!
I actually bought one for mine...but need to get the hitch installed first...but mine won't look as good, think it's goin' look goofy stickin' out all by itself.....at least he has that big spare tire stickin' back (hmmm, reminds me of somebody else's bright yellow truck with a big spare on the back) and it kind of balances the look...mine will be just stickin' way the heck out there....I'm still not sure if I'm keepin' it....I like the other style bumperette from Go Rhino much better but it doesn't offer the 25mph protection. I keep thinking it's more important to protect my neck AND the back cladding....but logic rarely prevails over aesthetics!

Paint it pink ... it'll look fine.
BTW, if I put the matching bumper on front, this is the roll cage concept I have in mind (in the event of a roll over, just roll it back upright & keep goin).
It's a guy thing, you wouldn't understand.
I actually resurrected this thread for a reason. Where did y'all get those 'bumperettes'. I'm thinking that the hiney protection would be a good investment if Boy ever drives the VX to school.
Never mind, I found it:

Well. in the words of a world famous perverted engineer -
"I have no response to that!"
And to get us partly back on topic -
Wow, Tom - what size is your RV??
That bumper looks too wide for anything you could register on the roads here.
Or is it an optical illusion caused by that OSFH??
PK
Now that food has replaced sex in my life -
I can't even get into my own pants!!
Rekin it's an optical illusion. It's a 32' Coachman that's built on a Ford dually frame.
The spec sheet for the 301SS is located here:

I think you should have called it "frequent shin trauma".
Bart
They are a tad higher than shin height![]()
