I refer to engineers as "weirdos" ONE TIME and they just won't let it go! Sheesh, and I didn't even mean it very much.

    Maybe I should have apologized?

Exact same thing I first thought too. We should make him a tribute VX and send it to him, LOL. Looks like they stole the inspiration for the roof lights from Dub though

That RCVX looks like it might be more of a micro crawler (hard to tell tho) - check it! http://www.losi.com/Products/Default...rodID=LOSB0236
That's right, 1/24 scale... just like this: http://www.etamiya.com/shop/tamiya-2...ss-p-6070.html

I want the Losi mini crawler for my larger VX RC body! Too many projects already tho.

This one is "locked" but it's driven like a tank, the left front and left rear are tied together and same on the right side, so when you have to turn you just use one side and snap the other to do a quick turn. It actualy works REALLY well, I had it in a little hole out back earlier and it did pretty good until the battery started dying and it wouldn't turn the wheels when they got "stuck". I'll post some pics/vid of that adventure in a minute. Had to take the wheels off and get the mud afterwards. I'm thinking of getting one of these and putting the VX body on it:

That or getting one of those WalMart brand ones that people seem to have good luck with. They are "beginner" Crawlers but shoot, I'd just be using it for fun so that's ok with me. You should bring yours to Uwharrie and we can have a mini-vx trail run! Take em through Daniel!

My current VX RC is about 10" long so it's alot bigger than the 1/24 scale Losi, but a little smaller than the 1/18 scale. I've thougth about getting the 1/24 model and building a 1/24 version but I like the size of my RC

Nah. We take perverse pride in the ribbing. It keeps us focused on the fact that everything we do is for the benefit of the 'Little People'
