The hub cover and flange can then be put to rest, stored, sold, bartered, or given away since they will not be reused. There is a thin shim that is there that is reused though so don't lose that.

Do not throw them away!!!! Keep at least one with the bolts in your truck when wheeling. I busted a hub on the trail, drive flange with make sure you still have 4 wheel drive! And as you can see, it only takes 15 minutes or so to install.

Mine stays in the tub with an extra tie rod, two CV joints, and all the tools needed to perform any of those swaps.
