Speed Thrills, Boredom Kills!!
Ha! Now that's funny.
OK Tom I get it. You don't want to be associated with someone who has a severe case of dingo envy, eh? Well sorry but I've been told it's the tool I need. To dig out the other half of my basement. Bobcat or anything else with ROPS is too tall - unless I rip out the low-hanging duct work. I find it hard to believe a Dingo has enough power for the rock-hard dirt though...
I towed a 96 Rodeo up Daniel at Uwharrie National Forest. No problems...
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Put a smiley after you say that Bub.
Please be aware that you MUST disconnect the lights to your trailer if you tow something through Oklahoma. I think it may be a state law since I only see lights on about 1 out of 3,000 trailers.![]()
rick, i just moved from oklahoma city to pueblo colorado, the law regarding trailer lights is they are not required if you can visibly see the tail lights of the vehicle doing the towing, if they are not visible, then trailer lights are required.
In our region, that "may" be true for daytime only, and a red flag must be attached to the rear most part of the load.
Nighttime would be illegal, since the back most part of the load, would not be visible.
My advice, you would be asking for a pull-over, and still at risk for a ticket.
is it good or bad the mileage is the same with/without trailer? :P
I keep going back and forth on buying a little camper trailer and if I should hitch my VX or my OBW.
EX OWNER 2000 Foxfire
My dad laughed at the new addition (my VX). He said that it was the stupidest looking thing and probably the most useless thing on the road.......then last week, he walked to my house to get me to pull his Chevy 1500 4x4 truck out of the mud. No words were exchanged afterwards.....he looked at the ground and I smiled as I drove away. Of course, my lovely VX lady didn't even flinch when she pulled his piece of junk out of the mud.
Just pulled my bike down to school this weekend (after painting it last week. you cant really see the marbling in the picture). Hardly felt it back there. Got even more looks than normal lol!
