well, I installed two power outlets where the ashtray went. But now with the Jensen unit I bought from 'twistedsymphony, will be doing a redsign and moving it along with the MediaLink3 interface to the lower DIN location

I installed two of them along with an engine Start button and av inputs for my head unit in the lower dash section

Funny, I've been thinking about doing exactly what you described (outlets in ashtray area) for awhile. Be sure to take pics before you change everything out, I'd love to see what it looks like now.
