Thank you everyone for your feedback. The link to the review by Rikshaw was excellent. I looked a a few other links as well for comparison. In the review by Rikshaw, he stated up front that when he had his new tires and wheels installed the tire shop cranked his torsion bars up about two inches. The lift he has achieved is about what I'm looking for but If I don't want to have my torsion bars cranked would I be able to achieve the same result with 913s or 912s, with or without the spacers, and with or without the stock spacer alignment insert?

This brings up another question: as my VX is a 99' and has 16" wheels (I understand Isuzu swithched to 18" in 00' & 01"), should I switch to 18s? As I understand it, 18s would only give me a wider stance; is that correct?
