Cargo area dimensions?

Anybody reeeeealy bored? (Heck, maybe someone has this memorized.)

So� if the rear seat was removed, what size object could you haul? Wait, I guess the right question is � what are the maximum dimensions of an item that could fit through the cargo door? 30�x30x30�? Bigger? (Doesn�t need to be exact by any means � just trying to get a general idea.)

Huge apologies if this is a "not this again" question � I searched� and failed. All I could find was depth and cubic inches.

I believe the cinder blocks were in tom4bren's gallery, and the tires were in etlsport's gallery.

I remember seeing both of those threads but I was hoping to learn what sized single item might fit through the door. Smaller items can be "Tetris-ed" through the opening.

you have about 3ft high and 3.5ft wide.. with the back seats out, 4-4.5 deep

I have fit a normal sized dishwasher (24x36) in my VX as well as a slightly smaller than normal chest freezer (30x36?)

Wow, that seems huge (considering what I can fit in my "clown car")! Just makes me want a VX even more.
