Amazingly all involved were relatively uninjured except for road rash (one had a possible fractured hip though). Bad thing is that most are expected to be at the start line of the Tour De France on July 3rd...not a lot of time to be 100% healed.

Nope, its all part of a mass sprint. Sprinters are a different breed and take huge risks to get a stage win. You will never see any of the major contenders for the overall win mixing it up in the sprints...its just not worth the risk.
