Hmmmm... I did have to replace either part or the whole assembly about 7 or 8 years ago. I remember buying OEM, but that's all I remember... sorry. I have the Indy 4X tie rods and haven't noticed any problems yet, but I think you're right about the angle travel. I'm sure after posting this I'll have major issues now. Oh well.
