I've ran a million (well not really that many, but a bunch) of different exhausts on different vehicles in the past. I had a Flowtech Raptor on my 97' Rodeo with the 3.2 SOHC and it sounded great, always got compliments on it. I'm planning on a "true" dual system for the VX using the newer Dynomax Ultraflo x-pipe muffler where the stock muffler sits, dual 2.25 in/out. I'm trying to figure out the best routing for the tailpipes to clear the rear shocks. I may end up Y'ing it together right out of the muffler into a single 3" if all else fails. I've ran this muffler before (not on an Isuzu) and loved it, also ran similar setups on some Nissan's for old customers and they sounded great. Now I just need money haha, this moving cross country thing sucks.
