Andre - good to see you visiting the board. Hope all is well.

There are a cupla members in the Tech Corridor area. If you don't get any response, lemme know & I'll see if I can find some names for you.

That reminds me of one year at the EJS when we were watching the "Big Saturday" parade. These Mormon guys came up to us with signs - they were walking along the strip to grab attention. They said things had gone out of control and that too many people have started coming to Moab and claimed the EJS was wiping out species and overwhelming the landscape. After a few minutes of diatribe my dad looks at one of those guys and asks, "Do you have sex?!" The guy was dumbfounded. My dad went on to say, "Maybe if you people would stop popping out babies in abundance we wouldn't have this problem. Have you ever thought that maybe YOU are overwhelming the landscape?" My dad is a quiet guy until you press his buttons so it was really funny for me! Anyway, agreed, too many breeders...

No offense to people with children, but I am 100% for zero population growth. We need to stop the problem where it starts! Not try to make it work for billions of people. It's just not feasible. There is going to be a major resource problem in the next 50-100 years. Anyone who doesn't see that coming is blind. Any more than 2 kids is completely irresponsible, imo. Again, no offense, just my opinion, and I come from a family of 4 kids.

It's here TODAY!! A huge % of people have to walk 3 miles or more for fresh water.
Dallas grew by 1.3 million people in the last decade. City is trying to buy water from Oklahoma(not selling)
The west is really starting to hurt.Isn't Lake Powell already drying up?

I totally agree - we do that a lot! I have had conversations with people here along those lines and have told them point blank what they are doing is irresponsible... they don't seem to have a point, just a blank expression. There is also a reason for my drivers license not listing me as a "donor"...

There is no point even trying to argue with people who hold fanatical religeous ideals. It's a lost cause.
