    VX trip pickup 3/25

so on the 25th will head to Biloxi, MS to pick up a '99 Ironman. will head up to Munford to pick up some tires from Sam and then head to Nashville to visit a cousin and looks like the weather is suppose to be bad that day and friday, I think I will spend friday there and leave on sat. If anyone is around friday in Nashville and wants to meet up. I will be meeting up with Steve/Slowpro48 in Winston-Salem on saturday if he is still able to, and then heading back to Yorktown, VA. Looking forward to the trip.

Good luck on the trip, can't wait to meet up when you get back. Thinking we should do a Hampton Roads VX meet sometime this summer. I got a PM the other day from a guy up in Yorktown who also has a FoxFire, there's JDM_Monkey in Va Beach, Somebeach in Chesapeake...

Now you just need to extend the trip through Moab in May and you will be all set! Congrats on the new Ironman!

Hey no prob - was looking forward to meeting you -but I totally understand. To be honest I thought your travel plans might change when you realized what a drive it is from Nashville to your house via I-40/I-85 especially since they still haven't cleared the rock slide on I-40 west of Asheville. That detour adds another hour to the trip. At least I think I-40 is still closed. They got a bunch of snow last week (if I recall correctly it was on the first day of spring!) which further delayed the repairs. Glad you made it back without incident.

It was a pleasure to meet you as well Billy. Glad you and your new VX made it home ok. Did you get the wheels to fit properly? How's the ride?

the ride was better with them, lucked out one of the others had a 3/16" self tapping screw in it, sure it was in it from the beginning. just ended up trimming a little off the corner of the cladding till I got home, will crank the torsion bars to lift it a little more.
