looks good, although 5 quid on a bit on linseed oil for the cladding might actually mean he sells it!!!
Is that red one of the limited editions??

I've know about this UK red for over a year when the owner tried to sell for 5200 on Ebay but obviously didn't find a buyer. It has just been re-listed as it didn't make the reserve last week. I've sent the current owner an email asking that he pass the forum's web site address to the next owner. Would you believe that although he's owned the red VX for 18 months he didn't know about our site - some people !). The current owner seems have looked after it and hasn't put many miles on the clock (one reason he's selling it apparently - not using it enough)
PS no, sorry, this Red VX isn't a limited edition (there a couple similar reds I know of in the UK including that Scottish one with all the stickers, remember? Whatever happen to that one?) - you can also tell because it hasn't leather recaros.
what's that little square thing with red & green lights to the right of key? An LP gas gauge?

Not having a badge on the console doesn't necessarily mean that it isn't a 175 (although I agreed in this case it isn't a 175) because the badge was/is actually a key fob that came with the 175, and most owners stuck them onto the centre console (or somewhere in the cabin).
