And no mention of where that Cuh-RaYzee bug deflector came from...One day of driving around with my front end naked was enough for me. I got my new bar and lights on and I'm good to go. I didn't realize it so dark when I took the pic, but you get the idea.

I've had my share from back when I lived in rural Arkansas. Hardest thing in the world to do driving is hit an animal instead of reacting to miss them and have an even worse fate...

One thing to keep in mind is that deer do NOT have a reverse setting on their transmission. If a collision is inevitable, aim for their arse ... chances are better than 50% that it will lunge forward & you'll be lucky and miss it without losing control or almost lucky & give it a glancing blow.
If you try to squeeze in front of a spooked deer, you've just doubled your chances of hitting it.
BTW, 90% of all statistics are 70% correct so you can take the above percentages as absolute truth.

We have a similar gadget for sale in Australia for scaring away kangaroos.
I fitted them to my new Subaru in 2002, and hit 2 kangaroos in 6 months.
Took them off, and hit nothing since.
