Good point! Thanks Justin for the other info too. Didn't have problems with that last year, but they only went on one trail (Hell's Rev), so I can see them getting burned or sore if we do 4 days like we're planning. We got those silly little tough booties for them a while back, but they stay on about 1.3 seconds, and the girls had them off.....That's it, the dewgies gotta stay home. Bummer

Yeah, I didn't bring Cinder to Moab last year, but the desert is just not a good place for a black dog...I did miss her but other times it was nice to not have to worry about parking in the shade, being able to go going on long hikes, and to National Parks, etc. She'll be staying with friends again this year.Originally Posted by VX KAT
