Yeah Gussie, I guess that's what I get for bed lining the cladding... Imagine what funny comments SPAZZ would get! We got some fast food in Boise one day (SPAZZ and I) and the cashier had to blink and take a step back when he saw a VX completely covered in Line-X. He said, "Well, I guess you don't worry about ANYTHING do you!?? We thought it was pretty funny!

LOL i quite sure carwash shops are all having hard time getting you in there to drop any pennies into the tips vault

So I had my first "Hey that's cool, but what is it?" encounter. This guy leaning on his F150 waiting to load some stuff at the furniture store looks over when I pull up. Looks away and then looks back. Walks around the VX to see if he can tell what it is (it's ISUZU is debadged) and then comes up and starts talking to me about it. It was awesome!

Just one of the reasons that I wanted to own one of these great vehicles.

Me: "Ummm, no, not really "

Random guy at gas station: "Oh, well, I figured you were since you have one of those trucks from the movie."

Back in 08 was at the gas station late at night, the cashier ran out to ask me if it was the new 08 porche, and how the hell i got it before anyone else. had my laughs and drove off.

Another time i was driving down the street when a car flew by me, slammed on his breaks so i can catch up and asked if that is the 09 porche and wanted to buy it from me there and now. I responded with no, its an 01 isuzu and he looked at me like i was stupid and drove off.

note: there is absolutly nothing on my car that would indicate anything close to being a porche...

Back in 2004 on way back from Moab, in either New Mexico or far west Texas, Tone and I were getting gas......both of the VXs and both debadged with the black wheels.....and people at the gas station were asking what they were, we said we couldnt give any information but that they were test vehicles for the government or something like that......and you see the west texas blank stare back atcha.....lol
