Thanks for the heads up.

I knew about the 98-02 trooper part sharing, but I did not know the origin of manufacture.

Assuming its the ABS module, I went ahead and tracked down an abs module from a '99 VX.

It's sitting at my feet right now, for $150. Sure beats the $2,700 ($2,400 from Merlin) that I would pay for new.

I have an appointment on Saturday for my mechanic to grab the code and see if in fact it is my module.

I've now had my ABS light come on and go off twice in the last few days. Course the fist time it happened it was after I had driven it in a total downpour it came on the next morning. It went out after it had sat for about 2 hrs. Then it came back on yesterday and went back out after sitting about 4 hours. Not on this morning. Big rains in Orlando as I type.
