Great idea, especially for us non-"motorheads". I believe even I would recognize a missing bolt. I think I'll try to get under mine this weekend and have a look-see. Plus if one is missing, I'm good with duct tape, actually I've become a fan of Gorilla Tape. I always thought the little clunk I hear was one of the marbles rolling around in my head, but who knows it may be a loose or missing tranny mount bolt.
So I said to myself, I said "Handee"
and this voice came back and said..
"He's not in, may we take a message?"

I had associated the clunk to sway bar bushings or shocks or something else.

Totally shocked that SOOO much was corrected by that one bolt.

Actually, went through my "VX folder" over the weekend with print outs of any post I keep for reference for my mechanic, and the tranny bolt thing was one of them I flagged to have my mech check out, since I live on my famous horrible dirt/rocky road. I'm certainly a candidate for loose bolts in these conditions. Thanks JAMAS for bringing it up! Underscores how important it is!

Hmmm; for those getting the "belly pan" KILBY skidplates, it would be a damn good idea to check those bolts BEFORE installation because the KILBY will cover-up everything with a solid sheet of steel.
