Those are some really beautiful pictures. I kinda had Great Brittain pictured as always being in a fog j/k. What really good lookin pics of the VX, I also thought (after crotchrockets pics) you guys only ran around in the mud. I would love doin that...cept the scratching part...lol.
So I said to myself, I said "Handee"
and this voice came back and said..
"He's not in, may we take a message?"
Thanks for the comments guys
Yes indeedy - a CB aerial.
The hankooks were surprisingly grippy - Its actually not as steep as it looks
I have them on my Pajero too, so rate them very highly. The run well on the road with very little/no noise and good road holding. Off road they are superb in all conditions.
Yes, Land Rovers are everywhere and there is a tongue in cheek war between Landie owners and everyone else. The Land Rovers are well known for breaking down a lot, but because parts are everywhere, they are very cheap to fix. Personally, having owned one, I think they are badly made, overpriced and not very good at anything, but thats just me
We have plenty of Cherokees and Wranglers, but not many are used off-road.
Cheers

Funny that we mostly share your view of the Landies over here as well. At least, most seem to understand the Landies are poorly made, overpriced, and not all that great. Parts are expensive though and needed often so it makes sense we don't see them around much. Depending in what circle you are in, Jeeps have a poor record regarding quality, but my experience has been great with them and parts are cheap and plentiful anyway.

What a fantastic trip and what fantastic photo's!!!!! Amazing area!!! and definately a bit spooky in the mist there!!!
Glad to see the VX leading the pack in every shotand thankfully that scrape wasnt too bad!! At least the first bit of damage is done now and out the way, you can relax more the next time it happens !!
Speed Thrills, Boredom Kills!!
At least the guy was smart enough to take off the front and rear bumper covers. That's not a Gelandewagon though...
Great photos - thanks for sharing!

oh i didnt know what the G-wagon thing meant... i thought they were talkin bout tone.
is the G-wagon that nazi looking car that the rediculously rich people drive around in thats hideous?
Very square, VERY expensive, very capable. A lot get used by military for troop carriers, TOW launchers, etc.
The civilian version unfortunately usually becomes a soccer mom/grocery getter vehicle. Many though get used as expedition vehicles though.
Not really hideous (I kinda like them)...think 1st generation Trooper.
