Door handle Mod-Prolly not a good idea

I was thinking how every once in a while your hand slips off the door handle when you try to open it. I know some people have used the grip tape under the handle with success, but I was wanting a better solution. So I thought has any one tried to put a cabinet drawer pull on their door handle ? So using a cordless drill and metal bit like this:Attachment 1193



I drilled a couple of holes in the door handle like this:Attachment 1191


Then attached the cabinet pull like this:Attachment 1192


Not bad huh? I used the silver pulls from Home Depot, $2.39 each.
Wife say's she thinks it looks funny but it's practical.
