You don't need to take the whole caliper off the axle, just the part that contains the pads. The bolts are on the inboard side, & have a little rubber cover under the head...

the two bolts with 'dust covers' on them?? on the back outside of the caliper? on other vehicles i have worked on you had to remove the entire caliper. those were just there to help you loosen the piston
