    Hey Dumke- we used to live in Plano for 12 yrs, went out to Boyd to see the big cat refuge/sanctuary they got out there, woulda driven right near your neck of the woods! I think we went thru Rhome actually. We sure love Texas, (but don't miss the heat), we'll get back for a visit some day I hope!

    The only way to get it is to live at 5000 ft elevation up in the mountains about 100 miles North of Phoenix..about 15-18 degrees cooler than Phx, and love the low humidity vs. Dallas.

    I live about sea level in the Mohave Desert in AZ and the heat here (I have seen 133 degrees) is much hotter than when I lived in Houston. But I do have to say the its not the heat its the humidity arguement has some merit and you can get a tan in 15 seconds.

    Haha, Dallas is a desert compared to Houston Gotta love it! We burn 1,000 calories just walking to the car some days
