I understand what you are saying, but I think if you follow the curves of the cladding, it can be done and look good. I want to come off the sliders, so I can use the lower bar as a side step/access to the roof rack, up along the fenders, and just under the windows, around the rear under my door mounted spare and back down to the hitch. I don't know, my buddy will have to look at it. He builds roll cages for cars right now.

As far as gas mileage, no worries, mine already gets in the 12s, but when I drive 4.5 miles each way to work, I don't care.
No roll cage, it already has one, that is why there really isn't a back window, the support bracket goes up through it. I dig the "Subaru", and would love to have it if I could afford it and it was close. Plus I have braces, so my grill and my truck's grill would match.![]()
