Say a little prayer for those near fires

We are about 10 minutes from the 90K + acre fire in the Angeles Forest. Though we are not in danger, my father's house is in the path and, many friends and old neighbors are those who are under mandatory evacuation. The scene looks like multiple volcanos erupting. We havent had a fire in these mountains since 78, so the brush is dense, the air is hot and very very dry... explosive is an understatement.

That sucks Anita. These Western fires we get out here were quite a surprise to me when I moved to Reno.

anita- my friends and family live in the los angeles area, so i will be sending my best regards to everyone in the path of that fire...

also, on a side note, i know how much it sucks, my house burned down to nothing in the 93 malibu fires. our family lost everything, but it started a better healthier life here in colorado, which made us all prosper...

I am TOTALLY sending positive vibes to the people in the L.A. area, but could you guys please keep the smoke in your state? It's like perpetual twilight here in my little part of Colorado due to all of the smoke blowing in. It has made for some wicked red sun and moon rises/sets.
I hope everyone out in SoCal is safe.
