The rubbing issue is also affected by height of the tire. If you go too big it will rub no matter how narrow you go. Eventually you fill the wheel well and they rub. And I have the NITTO terra grapplers like many others on this forum ( I believe I was the first ) and they are awesome.The 18" tires are quite a bit more than the 16" tires. Not thread jacking just getting my opinion in. And again they look great. shawn

That is true within reason. The only trimming I had to do was on the inside edge of the cladding due to the swing of the tire.

Riff you do have a ton of useful info and you and your posts are great in my book and very useful for many here I just seriously wish your posts were a tad less definitive and a little more open minded, that is all. No worries fellow VXer.

Good points (I bookmark many of Riff's posts for reference but find myself rolling my eyes occasionally ) and your best post in this thread, because I do agree with Riff that the previous posts were a little long-winded and too "definitive" themselves.

As for complainers, go join a sports car forum and find out what real bickering is about. Occasional arguing between friends who share a passion is to be expected, and is nowhere near what is typical on other forums. But Moncha is right, we do have to curb it before it accelerates...
