I found an answer to my speedometer not showing my speed.

I took it apart and here is what I saw:







There are four wires there and on my JDM speedometer three out of four were not touching the contacts. So I need to find a good micro soldering iron and try to solder the contacts. If I manage to do that I think I'll get it fixed and will have my speedometer and odometer in metric.
