    Bart, i'm aiming for about what you have with just a hair wider tires, ome 912, 1inch poly spacers, rancho 9000xl's, what else do i need? and where's the best/cheapest place to go those parts. i hear about the rancho's for buy 3 get one free but right now they are all running the buy 4 and get the remote free..... i'm not feelin the remote. then the one inch spacer and ome 912's where are the best place to get those. and last do i need the break line extensions and the shock boots and other spacer parts that come in the kit?

    I just ordered the 912s from Indy4x but I know you can get them cheaper at Rocky-Road (apparently takes much longer). Spacers can be purchased cheap on Amazon (or somewhere similar). You dont need the brakeline extensions/other stuff now and you probably dont need the spacer but thats your choice. I actually just posted a thread about spacers/coils last week. Check it out, specifically the links tom4bren posted- they're helpful. And check out monchas Taylor Richies's lift wiki under howtos (very very helpful).

    Yeah, all I have is the OME 912s and some torsion bar cranking. Nothing else. Stock shocks, stock bump stops, no spacers. The lift with the springs is about 2"s and then with the 265 tires about a total of 3"s. IMO, a perfect balanced look for the VX. I have a slight rake (I think I only turned my torsion bars 8-9 times) which imo looks good and keeps the angle slightly better for my CVs.

    I don't think "proper" is the word you were looking for. I think "completely-out-of-proportion-and-awkward" is the correct word.
