Bart, one of these days I'm gonna photochop your VX body over mine so you can see what a proper lift/rim/tire combo should look like.

I don't think "proper" is the word you were looking for. I think "completely-out-of-proportion-and-awkward" is the correct word.

didnt we JUST discuss TJ'ing in another thread gentleman...its his first post and your already stealing it....cmon...

NEED...not absolutely. Especially if you don't mind changing out CV boots a little more often.

Keep in mind, every inch of diff drop you do, is an equal amount of ground clearance lost, which is the other reason (besides larger tires) for lifting in the first place...

Also, if you drop your front diff, those kilby belly pans prolly won't fit...

previper----->ive had my VX with new springs and torsion bar crank (thats it on the lift) for almost 2 years and i have NO signs of wear on my boots...
