    Fan,

Great job in making those fit. On a personal note, I don't like wind deflectors in general. Always in my periferal vision & quite irritating (like bifocals). Rekin it's an aquired taste???

The other down side is that when I spat Copenhagen juice out da winder - wind deflectors make it go all over the side ob da VX - not good.

    We know but ....

What will Dub do without a paka smokes rolled up in his t-shirt sleeve & me without my Copenhagen ring on the pocket o my jeans. Dat's just plain SEXY.

OK - back on topic now.

After what I said about not wanting wind deflectors on the VX - I'd LOVE a set on the RV. Rainwater from the roof drips in the winders sumpin awful.

(mr mackey voice on) smokin' is bayud m-kay?...

VCrossfan, I lke the looks of where you're going with these...

Just a thought, maybe experiment with a heat gun, to get the radius of the bend closer to the same...

I know, they're kind of expensive to be experimenting with like that, just my two cenz...
Yes Mr.Dub they do move a slightly away from the door line but I went ahead and installed them to see the "Wind effect" inside ( it's not bad). Next was the heat gun or Bernz-O-Matic flame to get a good contoured bend. The flame worked very well to Cauterize the end I cut (made it factory smooth) and the front I trimmed slightly around the mirror I used and Air Sander with fine grit then I Cauterized it slightly. Once I get them to the bend I want I'll re-mount and post pic's

I taped the rear to get a my straight line then used a box cutter with a fresh blade and cut over and over with control not to get out of the groove and scratch out into the good part of the visor. It took awhile but was worth it then I Cauterized it to get it smooth. the front by the mirror I lightly ground then Cauterized it also. be careful and use fast swipes with the flame, don't stay on it long and I went with the direction of the cut, not back and forth side to side

There still on and looking good, Maybe in the spring I'll remove and apply some heat to get the exact curve, but they do ride the line of the door pretty darn close, but I'm a stickler on fit-n-finish. I'll post any changes...
