Ryan, I think the one off the left side looks dirtier than the one off the right...

I'm with Ryan, I've bought several used sets over the years, & I've never seen any difference.

What I have noticed, is that if any in the set have failed, it's always been one of the fronts.

hm strange.. my rears were much worse than my fronts... but i have hauled a lot of stuff through the rough streets of philly... including about 800 lbs of canned food and close to 700 lbs of stone (not at the same time)

Did you all see the NIB OEM ones for sale on Ebay? I assume that is why boss man started this thread?

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

That is what I did, got the Rancho 9000xls, although they are not as stiff as I would have liked, having the ability to turn them down to 3 or 4 when wheeling is a lifesaver. Those rocks are not so bad when the shocks are "squishier" so not so much bouncin.

Well, there is just about 15 minutes left on the eBay site for bidding. Things should get really interesting in the last few seconds in the bidding war.

Wow, $610 for the pair (1-front + 1-rear) was the final tally.

Whew, I thought dub was gonna say that if any had failed it was always the dirtier one.
So I said to myself, I said "Handee"

Not even...it's been my experience in many aspects of life, that the dirtier one usually has the greater SUCCESS!...

I wonder if anyone ever bought a new set of four VX shocks from Isuzu? At those prices, there must be a ton of 'em collecting dust in the Isuzu parts warehouse.
