    Zuki

Finally got my Zuki going! This is my beater rig that i don't care about beating up. I've been cruising it around town and to work the past couple days and have been getting more stares and comments on it than i think i ever have driving the vx. I figured it's just another sami? Pics are in my gallery if ya care to check it out.

I can understand the stares... I haven't seen one of those in years. What year is that? Is it 20 years old?

Personally, I really like the Suzuki's. Go anywhere 4x4 capability with great gas mileage!!! My next vehicle will be a 1998 Suzuki X-90, as soon as my expensive (really expensive) Home Theater project is completed. The 4x4 Suzuki community even have their own blog/forum website at: www.ZukiWorld.com

    .

It's a year younger than me at 23 yrs old. '86. I've had it since '02 iirc. There are actually a couple others around town. A couple of them in the offroad club i'm in. I think the stares come from the random dents as the others in town are fairly nice body wise. Save for one guys who's sami is more buggy now and is trail only. X-90's are sweet too. There is one in the next town over that the guy has butched up pretty good. Like off roading a metro. lol I showed my wife one and she forbid me from ever getting one. I'll stick with the sami for now. At least until the VX gets lifted more and paid down more so i can start wheeling it a little harder.

I think mine was '87. I miss it.

I put about 120K on it before the tranny went. I rebuilt it myself (suprisingly it was a pretty easy job - except I had to fab one piece). I put another 60K on it before the transfer case went TU. I found one in a bone yard. I put another 20K on it before I gave it to my sister.

It was a fun little DD. 81 cubic inches of raw power & a suspension so stiff I could run over a dime & tell you if it was heads or tails.

Oops - forgot. Ex-wife rolled it. Insurance totalled it and I put it back on the road & still had enough from the payout to buy new rims/tires.

Yep, I like-em to. Years ago one of the mechanics where I worked put a 283Chevy motor in his. Pretty wild.
So I said to myself, I said "Handee"
and this voice came back and said..
"He's not in, may we take a message?"

Some things should not be joked about. Jacksons death okay but a wuss *** samurai badge on a VX never. As far as quality light go anywhere vehicles I would rather have my Isuzu Amigo back.

As for old cars that can still perform I like my 1974 JH LBC had it out last weekend 110 degrees out 90 mph an extended 45 minute wait in line to cross Hoover damn and the 90 mph back home drove like a champ

That's cool. I really like those little rigs also. Cool how you have the front windshield...
