BTW, I gotta remove the hood insert again. One of the corner studs was broken off. I hoped double sided tape would hold it in place ... I don't.

Well I've gotten 2 estimates on repairing and repainting my cracked hood insert. The first was at a customizing place ... $450. The second was at the place that painted my SeaDoo a cupla years ago ... $600.
Rekin I'll be trying my hand at fiberglass repair myself (I work cheap when I work for myself).
My only concern is that the SeaDoo guy indicated that the insert is SMF (or SMC or something like that) & fiberglass resin wouldn't stick to it very well. Ideas???
