some put pop-out cup holders in that space out of ford taurus'
i put my radio down there and used the top space for aux switches (overhead lights, back up lights, winch, lockers......eventually)

ya, somehow i own the 2 cars i've ever seen without cup holders....i think its a curse...
both my VX and my integra dont have cup holders...
